Vibe Hacking

Vibe Hacking – AI Hacking On Auto

Hackers on the dark web are talking about artificial intelligence and whether AI will replace humans or not, not just marvelling at the tech anymore but seeing it as a tool to make easy money.

AI cybercrime is proving that you don’t need deep skills, technical knowledge, or years of experience to be a cyber criminal today and in the future. You just need the right tools and the confidence to trust in them.

Vibe Hacking

Developers are immersed in a concept called vibe coding, letting AI write code based on intent rather than precise requirements. You describe what you want, analyse and adjust the output, several versions, copy-paste, and that’s it. A quick solution without having any understanding of how it works or why.

So now hackers are adapting to this new approach and new tech and calling it ‘vibe hacking’.

It’s not about a specific technique, it’s a philosophy. Cutting out the need for years of learning and having a deep understanding of how hacking tools work and the best way to use them. Vibe hacking will open its arms and let you into this devious world of cybercrime.

Amateur hackers will embrace this concept as a process not a technical challenge. Have an idea, incorporate AI and away you go, AI on auto.

However, AI service providers have safeguards in place and block attempts to generate malicious content, in theory this works.

In practice, bypassing these restrictions (often referred to as AI jailbreaking) has quickly become a commodity in its own right. Techniques for evading safety controls are openly traded, packaged, and sold on the dark web.

It all sounds too easy and convenient. In reality the AI service providers will pick off the low hanging fruit and they will be punished accordingly. The more sophisticated hackers will embrace these AI advances and run with it at a rapid pace.

The battle lines between Black Hat hackers and White Hat hackers are being redrawn once again. The big difference for now is the speed of change and the need to adapt very quickly to this new, very powerful threat.

Cyber criminals will be frothing at the mouth at the idea how much money they can steal and how many people they can upset.

So will this new method affect us in England, oh yes. We are one of the biggest targets for cybercrime in the world and the NCSC will have their hands full coping with this new form of attack.
